Morning Mindbender for Friday 1/12/18

The budget for this in the city of Indianapolis is around $8 million a year. It’s $20 million a year in Chicago and $0 in Miami.

Snow removal and plowing

New York City takes the number one spot on this list with a budget of $55 million for plowing and snow removal! Of course, they have more streets crammed into their city than we do. But we’re about half the budget of the much bigger city of Chicago. Miami has no money in their budget for snow removal and, so far, they haven’t had to spend any. The last time there was any snow in Miami was in January of 1977. Thanks to all of our plow and salt truck drivers out this morning! Give them room to do their jobs please!
