Morning Mindbender for Monday 7/31/17

According to a new survey, the average parent will spend $501 per child on this this year.

Back to school shopping

It’s back to school time already again this year (for IPS, Greenwood and others today). If you have kids going back to school you’ll spend an average of $501 per kid this year, for supplies, clothes and, of course here in Indiana, textbook rentals. That total seems a little high to me. I figure we’ll probably spend somewhere around $300 - $400 for my daughter this year. How about you? What is the back to school total for your kids this year?
