Morning Mindbender for Wednesday 6/13/18

According to a new study, when you dine out, you’re 20% more likely to order food that is bad for you if the ambience of the restaurant includes this.

Loud music

The study found that the louder the music in a restaurant is, the more likely you are to order food that is on the unhealthy side. Researchers think the reason is that louder music “amps” us up more and we’re excited to eat less healthy food. Do you like eating somewhere with loud music or do you prefer a quieter restaurant?
