Morning Mindbender for Wednesday 8/30/17
According to a new study, 9:45 in the morning is the best time of day for you to tackle tough tasks because that’s the peak time for your concentration. 10:45 in the morning is your peak time of the day for this.
Maybe your stress level peaks at 10:45 because you’ve been trying to tackle tough tasks since 9:45! The study recommends taking a little time to relax around 10:45 to handle the stress. I guess that’s the origin of the coffee break right around that time. The study also found that, for someone with a “typical” 9 to 5 schedule, you should wake up at 6:45, have breakfast at 7:15, go to work at 9:00, have dinner at 6:00 p.m., have a drink at 6:10 p.m. (that’s oddly specific) and get to bed by 10:10 p.m. My schedule is nowhere near that! How about yours? How close are you to this recommended schedule (which doesn’t seem to account for having kids or after school activities!)
