CAREER HISTORY: Worked in the restaurant business for 10 years before choosing radio as a career, which has been the last 23 years, I’m a lucky guy!
FAVE LIVE MUSIC VENUE: The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville
FAVORITE CONCERT I’VE EVER BEEN TO: Bob Seger at Market Square Arena in 1980. A close second is last year’s Brad Paisley’s show at the Verizon Wireless Music Center. And, Sugarland at the Music Mill in 2005. And, Keith Urban in a small conference room in 2003. And….I have a lot of 2nd favorite concerts.
MOVIES: Comedies, especially action comedies. I’m a guy, I love to laugh and like watch things blow up.
TELEVISION: My recent favorite is Top Chef on Bravo
HEROES: My parents, John Wooden, John Maxwell, Charlie Morgan
MEMORABLE ON AIR MOMENT: My first on-air break ever I said “good morning!” It was 6pm on a Saturday night.

COOLEST CELEBRITY I EVER MET: Almost everyone in country music is great. Outside of the music business I would say Jay Leno, he’s a very nice guy.

STRANGEST RUMOR I EVER HEARD ABOUT MYSELF: Not necessarily a rumor but I’ve had people who have heard me on the air say “I though you were older and fatter.”

HOW I SPEND MY FREE TIME: With my family, whatever I’m doing outside of work it’s usually with family.

LIKE TO COOK? Yes, I was in the restaurant business for a long time & did a lot of cooking as a sous chef. I don’t cook as much as I would like but my cheesy potato soup still rocks & feeds about 250 people.
PET PEEVE: Stepping in dog poop
FIRST CD PURCHASED: It was a 45 (for those who remember what a 45 is) and it was “Hooked on a Feeling” by Blue Swede. The first album I bought was Aerosmith “Toys In the Attic.”
