1. Eligibility
A. Persons must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise noted.
B. No purchase necessary to play contest on 97.1 HANK FM
C. No more than one member of a household is eligible to win or
participate in a contest on 97.1 HANK FM (WLHK) within 30 days from
winning.
D. Contests are void where prohibited.
E. No prior employees or people that have been employed by Emmis
Communications within twelve (12) months are eligible.
F. Employees of Emmis Communications, their advertising agencies,
and/or employees of other broadcast or print media companies and
immediate family members within the Indianapolis Metro market are
not eligible to play or win.
2. Prizes and Taxes
A. Values and prizes are subject to change at the discretion of
97.1 HANK FM and all parties involved.
B. Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
C. Winner must claim prize at 40 Monument Circle, Indpls IN 46204
weekdays between the hours of 9am and 5pm, (excluding Holidays and
Weekends)
D. No substitutions are allowed unless otherwise noted.
E. Winners are responsible for any and all taxes.
F. All federal, state and local laws apply to any contest on 97.1
HANK FM.
G. Values of prizes maybe subject to change without prior notice.
H. Any single prize won on 97.1 HANK FM or the accumulation of prizes
who value is over $600 will be subject to an I.R.S. 1099 and the
applicable taxes.
3. Claiming Prizes
A. All prizes are to be claimed at the Emmis Communications building
located at 40 Monument Circle Ste. 400, Indianapolis, IN, 46204.
B. Prizes will NOT be mailed to winners.
C. Any prizes that are collected maybe subject to provide proof
of Social Security and Drivers License to ensure the identity and
the name of the winner.
D. In unique situations, designated representatives can be allowed
to accept prizes. HOWEVER, a written statement, along with a copy
of Social Security card and Drivers License must be provided for
the designated representative to pick up prize for winner.
E. 97.1 HANK FM management will have the sole right to determine
a "unique situation."
F. Emmis Communications is not liable for any damages, errors, or
unforeseen circumstances surround the prize or transfer thereof.
G. Emmis Communications is not liable for replacing a prize after
an expiration date on any prize that is won.
H. Winner MUST sign claim sheet and in doing so acknowledges any
and all liability.
4. Shot Caller Clause
A. Emmis Communications is not held liable in the event of any legal
problems.
B. Emmis Communications is not held liable for improper identification
provided at time of prize redemption.
C. All decisions made by 97.1 HANK FM management are final.
