Luke Bryan is logging another career first. The singer has earned his first American Music Award, getting the nod for Favorite Male Artist-Country during Sunday's ceremony on ABC. In accepting the honor Luke expressed his appreciation to his followers, and to one supporter in particular.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, and Carrie Underwood each added to their list of AMA wins. Taylor earned her eleventh AMA trophy as well as her fifth consecutive Favorite Female Artist-Country title, and Lady A captured Favorite Band, Duo, or Group-Country for a third straight year. Meanwhile, Underwood's "Blown Away" was named Favorite Album-Country. Carrie has yet to lose when nominated in that category.
