Chris Young's first headlining tour is ending with a whisper. The country star is having a problem with his voice, and his doctor has put him on vocal rest through the end of the week. Consequently, the last three dates of Young's "Liquid Neon" tour have been postponed. Chris was scheduled to perform in Huntsville, Alabama on Thursday and in Savannah, Georgia on Friday before wrapping up the tour in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Saturday. The singer admits in a written statement that he hates to "disappoint everybody," but explains that his voice is "pretty ragged out." He also extends his gratitude for his fans' understanding and support, and adds that he's looking forward to "seeing y'all next year." But Chris is expected to be back in action next week. He's still slated to t
ake part in the Ten Man Jam in Houston, Texas on December 12th, which is his last scheduled performance of 2012.
Chris also intends to spend a lot of time on the road in 2013. His touring plans for next year include playing make-good dates for this week's missed shows. The new dates haven't been announced yet, but the original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled shows. Fans can also return their tickets to their place of purchase for refunds.
