LeAnn Rimes, Little Big Town Performing On "X Factor" Finale
LeAnn Rimes and Little Big Town will be on hand to support the "X Factor" hopefuls in their final performances tonight. MTV.com says Rimes has been tapped to join a finalist who's career path could match her own. The country star, who came to fame at the age of 13 with her hit "Blue," will perform with 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar on Wednesday night's show. While Carly Rose hasn't performed any country songs in the competition, she says she's "psyched" about singing with Rimes. She adds that LeAnn "is amazing and her voice is really, really special."
Little Big Town will team up with country singer Tate Stevens. Billboard.com says Tate originally asked to be paired up with Garth Brooks. Even though he's not getting his dream partner, he says sharing the stage with Little Big Town is "gonna be awesome." "X Factor" judge and mentor Demi Lovato, who doesn't have an act in the finals, will perform with the group Fifth Harmony. Rimes, Little Big Town, and Lovato will sing with the "X Factor" finalists on Wednesday's episode, airing on Fox at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. The winner will be announced on Thursday's show, also airing on Fox at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
