Tim McGraw More Interested In Looking Ahead Than Reflecting Back
Tim McGraw says he's not interested in dwelling on the past. The singer, who just released the new single "Truck Yeah," says he wants to focus on the future.
McGraw is currently involved in a litigious departure from his former label, Curb Records, but he says that by no means was his tenure with the company all bad. The country star admits he enjoyed a lot of success with Curb, and he recognizes that the label did a lot for him and his career. McGraw explains that part of his reluctance to reflect on his past has to do with motivation. He says if he really examined his accomplishments he might start feeling it's time for him to call it quits. But McGraw adds that he doesn't want to retire from music, because there are plenty of things he still wants to do with his career. "Truck Yeah" is Tim's first release under his new label deal with Big Machine Records.
