Garth Brooks Would "Love" To Tour Again
Garth Brooks just might return to the road in a couple of years. At a press conference in conjunction with his appearance last week at Canada's Calgary Stampede, the country superstar told reporters he'd "love to tour again." Brooks put his career on hold back in 2001 to devote himself to raising his children. At that time vowed that he wouldn't return to work until his youngest daughter -- who's turning 16 this month -- finishes high school. But Brooks says two years from now he just might hit the road, "if God lets us do it and everything goes well."
But over the past decade Brooks hasn't been on a total hiatus. He's recorded a few new songs, and in late 2009 he launched his residency at The Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas. Garth's next Vegas performances are coming up this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
