Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley Set For "Teachers Rock"
Carrie Underwood and Dierks Bentley are helping salute educators. They're among the stars taking part in the upcoming TV special "Teachers Rock." Carrie and Dierks are both slated to perform on the show, along with singer Josh Groban and the pop group Fun. Meanwhile, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and James Valentine, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, and "Glee" star Matthew Morrison are some of the celebrities who'll be sharing memories and testimonials of how teachers have impacted their lives. Morgan Freeman, Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, and "NCIS" star Pauley Perrette are some of the other celebrities scheduled to take part in the event. The "Teachers Rock" concert will serve as a benefit for DonorsChoose.org, Feeding America, and Teach for America. The show will be taped at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on August 14th, and air on CBS at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on August 18th.
