Eric Church Marks First Anniversary Of First Chart-Topping Album
It was one year ago this week that Eric Church released his third studio album, "Chief," which has become the biggest disc of his career. The singer still remembers working on the project. He says he and his songwriting partners spent a month at a cabin so they could work on material on their own timetable without any outside distractions.
"Chief" is Eric's first chart-topping album and his first disc to earn a Platinum certification for U.S. sales topping the one-million mark. The project also includes Church's first chart-topping singles, "Drink In My Hand" and "Springsteen," which were back-to-back number one hits. In addition, "Springsteen" is Eric's first Platinum single.
