Jason Aldean Can't Explain Sudden, Dramatic Increase In Ticket Sales
Jason Aldean admits he doesn't know why his concerts tickets have become such a hot commodity this year. However, the country star says he believes opener Luke Bryan deserves some of the credit.
Jason says he really can't explain the success of his 2012 tour. He says last year he was playing for capacity crowds in five-to-eight-thousand-seat venues, but many stops didn't sell out until the day of the show. Now he's selling three-to-four-times as many tickets, and shows are selling out well in advance of the concert. Aldean recently sold more than 20-thousand tickets in just four minutes for his St. Louis show, while it took just two minutes for him to sell more than 24-thousand tickets for his Indianapolis concert. Jason will play those shows in September.
