Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Could Be Headed To Vegas
Garth Brooks and Shania Twain might not be the only country stars staging shows in Vegas. The Venetian is expected to announce plans today for a new show, which the "Las Vegas Review-Journal" says will likely feature Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Meanwhile, posts Monday on both Tim and Faith's websites said the country couple have "a special event coming up very soon." A Vegas residency would be a reintroduction of sorts for Faith, who has been working toward a comeback. Late last year she released "Come Home," which was her first single since 2007's "Red Umbrella." Her last album was 2005's "Fireflies." McGraw is also working on new music. He just unveiled the single "Truck Yeah" last month, which is his first release under a new recording deal.
Brooks is currently three years into his five-year residency at the Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas. Last summer Twain announced that she'd inked a two-year deal with The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She's expected to launch "Shania: Still The One" this December.
