Tim McGraw's Life Being Told In New Comic Book
The Vegas show isn't the only new project for Tim McGraw. NashvilleGab.com says he's the next country star to get animated via Bluewater Productions -- the same company that produced the Taylor Swift comic book in 2010. "Fame: Tim McGraw" writer David McIntee says he enjoyed working on the book. He explains that the singer "has had a wider career and area of interest than people might think," and adds that he "loved the chance to do something with a hint of the Western, to go with the musical genre." Jed Mickle created the text illustrations, while William Sleeper designed the cover. The 40-page biographical comic book will retail for seven-dollars-99-cents, and be available in both physical and digital formats. "Fame: Tim McGraw" is expected to arrive in stores in September.
Earlier this week McGraw and wife Faith Hill announced their upcoming limited engagement in Las Vegas. The couple will play a total of 40 shows at The Venetian over a five-month period. Tim and Faith will launch their "Soul2Soul" show on December 7th.
