Report: Randy Travis Naked, Threatened Officers After Arrest
More details are surfacing about the DWI arrest of country singer Randy Travis in North Texas late Tuesday night. The Grayson County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ.com Travis was naked and threatened to "shoot and kill the Troopers working the case" en route to the police station. Police were tipped off about Travis when someone reported a man lying in the roadway. According to TMZ, when they arrived at the scene police noticed the singer's car crashed into several barricades in a construction zone. A mugshot shows Travis with a black eye and cuts and bruises on his face. He was charged with DWI, retaliation and obstruction. The singer was released from custody after posting 21-thousand-500-dollars bail.
This marks the second time Travis has been arrested this year. He was taken into custody in February on suspicion of public intoxication. Police say Travis had an open bottle of wine outside the First Baptist Church, near his Tioga, Texas ranch.
