Taylor Swift Announces New Album, Debuts New Single

Taylor Swift's new album, "Red," will be in stores on October 22nd. The country-pop crossover star hosted a YouTube chat Monday evening to announce the project. She said the songs on the 16-track disc focus on her love life.
Swift added that she's named the disc "Red" because the relationships that inspired the songs sparked intense feelings in her, which she equates with that particular color. The singer also said she's currently planning a worldwide launch for the album, as well as an upcoming tour in support of the disc. Taylor ended her chat with the debut of "Red's" lead-off single, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," which she released Monday evening via iTunes and GooglePlay.
