Carrie Underwood On "Today;" Chris Young Becomes CMT "VJ"
Carrie Underwood and Chris Young are among the country stars making special TV appearances this morning. Carrie will make a stop at NBC's "Today" to perform on the show's Toyota Concert Series. While the "Today" concerts typically take place on Fridays, the show is hosting performances at New York's Rockefeller Plaza all week to mark its return to the U.S. following two weeks of broadcasts from Britain during the Olympics.
Meanwhile, Chris Young will be serving as CMT's "VJ for a Day." The country star is set to share some of his favorite videos with viewers for one hour, starting at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. Chris is the latest singer to serve as CMT's "VJ for a Day." Previous artists who've taken over the airwaves at CMT include Rascal Flatts, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood.
