Love And Theft Celebrating First Chart-Topping Gold Single
Love And Theft are reveling in the success of their latest single, "Angel Eyes." The song is the new number one on both the Billboard Country Songs chart as well as the Country Aircheck list. In addition to topping the charts, just last Thursday "Angel Eyes" was certified Gold. Love And Theft's Stephen Barker Liles says he feels "truly humbled and grateful," and is offering his thanks to their label, country radio, and the fans for fueling the accomplishment. The duo's Eric Gunderson, who co-wrote "Angel Eyes," says the song is proof that "dreams really do come true." He adds his appreciation to his co-writers "for changing my life." "Angel Eyes" is the first number one hit and first Gold single for Love And Theft. The track is from their recently-released self-titled sophomore album.
While the studio project is the second official Love And Theft CD, it's their first album as a duo. Gunderson and Liles launched Love And Theft as a trio with Brian Banda, who contributed to their 2009 debut "World Wide Open." Banda left the group at the end of 2010.
