Country Stars Featured On On PBS Special Premiering Friday

Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, and Merle Haggard are among the performers for the TV concert special "From Dust To Dreams: Opening Night at The Smith Center For The Performing Arts." The multi-genre all-star event celebrated the launch of The Smith Center in Las Vegas, which opened to the public in March. The show features a number of collaborations. Martina teams up with Train's Pat Monahan on "A Song For You" and joins Jennifer Hudson and Carole King to sing "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman." Meanwhile, Willie and Merle offer up a rendition of "Pancho & Lefty," and welcome Emmylou Harris to accompany them on the Haggard classic "Ramblin' Fever."

Other featured artists include John Fogerty, Mavis Staples, Joshua Bell, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Arturo Sandoval. Actor Neil Patrick Harris hosts "From Dust To Dreams," which will debut on PBS Friday night.
