Hunter Hayes hasn't just achieved a personal milestone by reaching the top of the Country Songs chart. He has also set a new record. Billboard.com says with the arrival of "Wanted" in the number one spot on the chart, Hunter has become the youngest solo male country artist to top the chart. The singer logged the accomplishment within weeks of his 21st birthday, which he celebrated on September 9th. Johnny Rodriguez held the previous record, which he set nearly 40 years ago. His single "You Always Come Back To Hurting Me" hit the top spot on the chart in June 1973, six months after his 21st birthday.
