Kellie Pickler once again has a label deal. The country star announced Monday that she's signed a new deal with Black River Entertainment. Pickler says she's pleased to be part of the Black River roster, and she feels she and the company "hold similar values." The singer explains that from the moment she met the Black River staff she could see "how much the entire team respects the artists' musical vision." Kellie adds that she's now looking forward to returning to the studio and starting her next album. Pickler found herself without a label earlier this year. She completed her three-disc deal with BNA Records with her most recent release, "100 Proof," but her contract was not renewed. Other Black River artists include Craig Morgan, Sarah Darling, and Due West.
