Jo Dee Messina Runs, Performs At San Antonio Marathon
Jo Dee Messina admits she was "a bit nervous" about Sunday's Rock 'n Roll Marathon. The country star took part in the weekend event in San Antonio, Texas in a big way. After spending two-hours and 36-minutes running the half-marathon, Jo Dee took the stage to perform a 90-minute post-race concert. The singer explains that her goal was to "finish the run and still have energy for the show." She says she "made it through both," but admits she "definitely crashed hard" once her day was over. A crowd of 25-thousand people gathered at the finish line for Jo Dee's set, which included the hits "Heads Carolina, Tails California," "I'm Alright," and "Lesson In Leaving" as well as the new tune "A Woman's Rant." Messina says it was "an amazing experience," and she's "so glad" she did it.
