Blake Shelton Thrilled To Host His Own Holiday Special
Blake Shelton says having his own holiday special is "icing on the cake," and that he had "a blast" making "Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas." The country star tells NBC that he's glad he was able to "have fun with it and goof around and try to make people laugh" while turning out some great music. Shelton adds that the holidays are about surrounding yourself with those closest to you, which is why he included friends and family members on the show. Blake's wife Miranda Lambert and his mom Dorothy Shackleford contribute to the festivities, along with Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Larry the Cable Guy, Christina Aguilera, and Jay Leno. "Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas," featuring a mix of music and comedy sketches, will air on NBC Monday night at 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
