Gary Allan Using "Every Storm" To Raise Money For Charity

Gary Allan is using his latest single, "Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain)," to help the victims of superstorm Sandy. The country star is offering a download of a special acoustic version of the song to those who make a donation to the American Red Cross. He has also created a special video for the track that urges viewers to contribute to the charity. Gary explains that his motivation for the charitable effort stems from more than just a desire to help. The singer tells he has "a bunch of friends" who "lost their homes" and were "completely devastated" following Nashville's 2010 flood, which made it "a lot easier to be sympathetic" to those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Allan adds that since "Every Storm" is "such a hopeful song," he wanted to "attach it to a certain cause, and maybe do it a lot of good." "Every Storm" is the lead-off single from Gary Allan's next album, "Set You Free," which is expected to arrive in stores early next year.
