Josh Turner's "Time Is Love" is finally at the top of a "Billboard" chart. The track was the lead-off release from the singer's 2012 album "Punching Bag." It was sent to radio stations back in January, well in advance of the CD's June arrival in stores, and it eventually peaked at number two during its run on the Country Songs chart. But "Time Is Love" is the number one track on "Billboard's" year-end "Best of 2012" Country Songs chart, which is based on Nielsen BDS data on radio airplay and audience impressions.
With the accomplishment, Josh joins an elite group. It's only the second time in the chart's 68-year history that a song that wasn't a number one hit has topped the year-end list. Lee Brice became the first to log the unusual feat just two years ago with "Love Like Crazy," which didn't go higher than number three during its record-setting chart run but ended up the number one country song of 2010.
