Ashley Monroe, Kacey Musgraves, High Valley Named "Artists To Watch"

Pistol Annies' Ashley Monroe might soon be like bandmate Miranda Lambert, and have a name on her own. She's among those on's "Artists To Watch" list for 2013. Billboard says Ashley's upcoming solo album "Like A Rose," which is slated for release on March 5th, is one of Nashville's "most anticipated projects." The site adds that Ashley "might be the most talented female traditional-based newcomer since Lee Ann Womack." Others on the list include Kacey Musgraves, whose debut single "Merry Go Round" is now a top 20 hit. She's drawing comparisons to Loretta Lynn, and is expected to "make quite an impact in 2013." High Valley is also getting a mention. Billboard says the Canadian trio, who made their Grand Ole Opry debut last weekend, is "poised to make an impact" this year with their single, "Love You For A Long Time."'s list of the "Ten Artists To Watch In 2013"
