Terri Clark Releases New Covers Disc
Terri Clark is paying homage to vintage country music on her new album. "Classics" features covers of songs from the '50s through the '80s. Terri says she's wanted to record an album like this her "whole life." She explains that it "represents so many things" to her, including her family roots and influences, the Opry, and "many of the songs that make up the fabric of country music." The disc features a number of collaborations. The CD's first single is a remake of the George Jones-Tammy Wynette hit "Golden Ring," which Terri sings with Dierks Bentley. Terri recorded her own version of "Delta Dawn" with Tanya Tucker and "How Blue" with Reba McEntire. Other guests include Canadian stars Dean Brody and Jann Arden. Clark's "Classics" is available now.
