George Strait To Receive CRB Career Achievement Award

George Strait's list of honors will get even longer this month. The country icon is set to receive the 2013 Country Radio Broadcasters Career Achievement Award, even though he says it doesn't always feel like his career has been all that lengthy.

But even though Strait will be the one picking up the award at the Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on February 26th, he knows he didn't get there on his own. He says he's always worked with very loyal people who he's been able to bounce ideas off of, and who have given him good advice in return.
Strait was originally inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2006. With this year's CRB Achievement Award, he'll join a group of previous recipients that includes Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire.
