Rascal Flatts is in Australia for their first ever shows in the land down under. The guys arrived in Sydney earlier this week, and have been tweeting about the experience. Both Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus shared their relief at finally getting there, with Joe Don noting it was a 27-hour trip. Jay attached a photo to one of his tweets, sharing the view outside his hotel window. He adds that Sydney is a "beautiful city."
Rascal Flatts will make their Australian concert debut Wednesday night with a show in Brisbane, and then head to Melbourne for a performance Friday night. The trio will wrap up their Australian adventure with a headlining set at the CMC Rocks the Hunter festival. Rascal Flatts will close out the three-day event Sunday night, following sets from The Band Perry, David Lee Murphy, and The Farm as well as Canadian stars Dean Brody and Corb Lund. The Band Perry is also the opening act for Rascal Flatts' Brisbane and Melbourne shows.
