Charlie Daniels Recovering At Home Following Pacemaker Surgery
Charlie Daniels is now resting at home after undergoing surgery to implant a pacemaker. The country star is extending his gratitude to fans for all their support. On Friday he tweeted his thanks for everyone's "prayers and well wishes," adding that the "surgery went good, pace maker is honking," and that he expected to be back home in a matter of hours. Charlie later tweeted, that "home is where you hang your hat," and he's thanking God that he's been able to return to his. He also attached a photograph of his hat in his home.
Daniels was admitted to a Nashville area hospital last week after visiting a doctor because he "just wasn't feeling well." In addition to diagnosing him with a mild case of pneumonia, doctors also discovered that Charlie had an irregular heartbeat, and needed a pacemaker.
