National Kidney Foundation of Indiana Charity Basketball Game
Join Casey from Mornings with Dave O'Brien and the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana on Sunday, April 29th at Park Tudor High School for the NKFI Charity Basketball Game. The game will begin at 3:00 PM.
The National Kidney Foundation of Indiana is dedicated to preventing kidney disease, assisting kidney patients and promoting organ donation in Indiana. Over 600,000 Hoosiers have kidney disease and most of them don’t know it. In addition, many are awaiting a life-saving organ transplant. The NKFI holds an annual Kidney Walk to raise awareness about kidney health and funds for their mission.
The Charity Basketball Game is an event that was created 3 years ago to support the annual NKFI Walk that takes place in downtown Indianapolis. In the last 2 years, the Charity Basketball Game has raised just under $4,500 through proceeds from the event and Silent Auction. It showcases physicians, nurses, and patient technicians from the renal community.
