Angaleena Presley Calls Upcoming Solo Album An "Autobiography"


(Undated) -- Pistol Annies' Angaleena Presley says she's "literally lived every minute" of her upcoming solo album. The country star describes "American Middle Class" as like her "autobiography," and each of the songs contain her life experiences "from birth to now." Angaleena adds that her mother "ain't none too happy" that her daughter is telling her story in song, but the singer says she has "to do it."

Presley was involved in writing all 12 of the album's tracks, and penned five of the songs on her own. The personal disc also includes input from Angaleena's father, Jimmy Presley, whose featured on the title track. Other songs on the upcoming collection are called "Ain't No Man," "Pain Pills," "Drunk," and "Surrender." Presley's "American Middle Class" will be released on October 14th.
