Billy Currington Realizing Potential Of Latest Single

(Nashville, TN) -- Billy Currington says "We Are Tonight" has become one of the highlights of his concerts. But the country star admits it didn't happen instantly. He says he recognized the song's power the moment he heard it, but the single had to climb the chart before he began to realize its potential.

Currington is playing a couple of shows this weekend. He's the headliner at the Outagamie County Fair in Seymour, Wisconsin on Friday, and he'll open for Lady Antebellum in Wantagh, New York on Sunday. "We Are Tonight" is the title track to Billy's latest album, and the follow up to his chart-topping hit "Hey Girl."
