Brad Paisley Explains Why He Leaked Tracks From New Album

(Undated) -- Now that Brad Paisley's "Moonshine in the Trunk" is in stores, the country star is explaining why he "went rogue" and leaked the material prior to the album's official release. He explains in a recent Facebook video that he wanted to set the stage for the project.

Paisley says it's also why he unveiled the song in the ways that he did, like tapping Ellen DeGeneres to debut the lyric video for "Shattered Glass" and coordinating the leak of "American Flag on the Moon" with NASA. Brad also admits his experience with his last album, "Wheelhouse," played a role in his decision. He began his promotion for his 2013 release on the defensive, addressing the controversy over his LL Cool J collaboration, "Accidental Racist."
