Brad Paisley Has Different Goals For New Album


(Undated) -- Brad Paisley might have surprised his label with his "rogue" song previews, but he's not trying to shock anybody with the music. The country star explains that it doesn't mean he censored himself or put any content restrictions on "Moonshine in the Trunk."


Paisley admits his 2013 effort, "Wheelhouse," was "100-percent about leaving your comfort zone." But the singer says his goal with "Moonshine" was to create a "familiar and lovable" sound that listeners could instantly embrace, even if the song covers "a new, daring subject." "Moonshine in the Trunk" features Brad's current single, "River Bank." And with Paisley's recent mission to leak the songs, fans have had opportunities to preview several other tracks as well. The CD will be in stores on August 25th.
