Brad Paisley Posts Song Tribute To Doctor Fighting Ebola

(Undated) -- Brad Paisley continues to post Twitter previews of his upcoming album. But a song clip he debuted over the weekend is more than a teaser for the disc. Brad tweeted that he's "moved by the Christian Dr. Fighting Ebola who gave the serum to his friend," so the song "Me and Jesus" is "a bonus track. For him."


"Me and Jesus" isn't on the official "Moonshine in the Trunk" track listing, which was unveiled last week. Prior to posting the song, Paisley tweeted that he was "kind of in a serious mood," which he attributed to "reading the news." He added that if he were to "leak something" he hoped his label would "leave it up" because he'd "mean it." Brad followed with a tweet reading, "Pray for Dr. Kent Brantly - one of those brave souls who risks his life to save others," and then sent the tweet that included the song.

Paisley has been in a Twitter battle with label execs for the past week over his efforts to preview material from his new album. "Moonshine in the Trunk" is due in stores on August 25th.
