Country Stars Participating In Televised July 4th Events

(Undated)  --  Country music is playing a part in two of this year's Independence Day TV events.  Miranda Lambert, the Zac Brown Band, and Hunter Hayes  are all slated to appear on the "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular."  Lionel Richie, Ariana Grande, and Enrique Iglesias are some of the other stars on board for the show, while a new recording from the Charlie Daniels Band will be featured in the soundtrack to the event's 25-minute fireworks display.  The two-hour "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" is scheduled to air on NBC at Friday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

Sara Evans is also performing in celebration of the holiday.  She'll be in Washington, DC for PBS' "A Capitol Fourth," airing live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.  The country singer is part of a lineup that also includes Michael McDonald, Patti LaBelle, Frankie Valli, and others.  Tom Bergeron will host the show, which will also air Friday night at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
