Craig Morgan Raises Over 60-Thousand At Weekend Charity Event

(Nashville, TN) -- Craig Morgan is happy with the results of his weekend fundraiser. On Sunday the country star hosted his 8th Annual Charity Event in Dickson, Tennessee, which brought in more than 60-thousand dollars for the Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation. The event began with motocross stars putting on an exhibition, while fellow country stars Tracy Lawrence and Chuck Wicks also took part in the morning trail ride. The singers later joined Craig for an acoustic concert and auction. Big-ticket items included a custom-painted motocross racing helmet and a 2010 Kia Soul, which went for ten-thousand-dollars. Money raised through Morgan's event supports Billy's Place, a local facility that assists foster children throughout Middle Tennessee.
