Dolly Parton Wants To Record Gay-Friendly Dance CD

(Undated) -- Dolly Parton wants to do something special for her gay fans. The country legend told reporters at a recent press event that she wants to make a dance album, and include "several songs that are very positive towards the gay community." She said she has one song called "Just A Wee Bit Gay" that's "funny" and "a great little dance tune." Parton, who is a longtime gay icon, explains that she writes "a lot of songs along those lines with people that are different and are just themselves."

Dolly released her latest album, "Blue Smoke," back in May. She just wrapped up her "Blue Smoke" European tour this week with a festival appearance in Switzerland.
