Dwight Yoakam Releases New Single Following New Deal

(Undated) -- Dwight Yoakam has a new album on the way. The country star is introducing the project with the release of a new song, his cover of the Creedence Clearwater Revival classic "Who'll Stop The Rain."

HollywoodReporter.com says the song is also Yoakam's first release under a new deal with Warner Bros./Reprise Records, and marks his return to the label that launched his career. Details on Yoakam's upcoming studio project haven't been announced, but the disc is due later this year. The still-untitled release will be Dwight's follow up to his 2012 effort, "3 Pears."
