Eric Church Shares Favorite George Strait Memory


(Nashville, TN) -- Eric Church says George Strait is called King George for a reason. Church recalls that he and his wife once made a drinking game out of naming George Strait songs, which only highlighted the magnitude of Strait's work.


Church was among the special guests who joined Strait for his tour finale in Arlington, Texas over the weekend. Eric teamed up with George in singing "Cowboys Like Us" and "Easy Come Easy Go" during the show. He also took part in the encore along with all the other guests. Saturday's concert was the last stop on Strait's "Cowboy Rides Away" trek, which George has said would be his last formal tour. The show set an attendance record with a crowd of nearly 105-thousand fans.
