Flatts' DeMarcus, Michael W. Smith, Dailey & Vincent Dove Nominees


(Nashville, TN) -- Michael W. Smith, Dailey & Vincent, and Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus are some of the stars in the running for Dove Awards. Smith has a nod with "Hymns," which is up for Inspirational Album of the Year. Dailey & Vincent are in the running for Bluegrass Song of the Year for "Won't It Be Wonderful There," from their 2013 release "Brothers of the Highway." DeMarcus is getting recognition as a producer. He was at the helm for Jason Crabb's "Love Is Stronger," which is up for Southern Gospel Song of the Year. Jay also co-produced No Other Name's "Four:Twelve," another contender in the Inspirational Album category. Wayne Haun is the top nominee heading into the event. The Gospel Music Association's 45th annual GMA Dove Awards will be presented in Nashville on October 7th.
