Garth Brooks' Atlanta Run Grows To Seven Shows

(Undated) -- Garth Brooks' Atlanta run is being extended even further. The country superstar added two more shows in the Georgia city last week, a few days after tickets for his initial shows went on sale, over concerns that scalpers and not fans were the primary buyers. Shortly after tickets for his newly announced performances went on sale Saturday, two more shows were added. Garth is now slated to play a total of seven concerts in Atlanta, which also sets a new record for the longest concert stand at the venue. The previous record was set in 1976 with Elvis Presley's four-show run at The Omni Coliseum, which was down and replaced with the Philips Arena in the late 1990s.

Brooks' Atlanta stand includes two performances on September 19th and 20th, and one show on September 21st, 26th and 27th. Not all of the Atlanta concerts were instant sell-outs. Details on available tickets are posted at GarthBrooks.com.
