George Strait's Final Concert Becoming TV Special


(Undated) -- George Strait's last show on his final tour is getting a TV showcase. CMT's "George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away" uses songs from the country superstar's June 7th Arlington, Texas concert and new interview clips to outline his career. Strait set an attendance record with his tour finale, performing before a crowd of nearly 105-thousand. He played 41 songs in his lengthy, star-packed show, which featured guest appearances from Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, and many others. Strait played numerous hits and fan favorites, including "Fool Hearted Memory," "Check Yes or No," and "The Cowboy Rides Away." "George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away" will debut on CMT on August 29th at 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
