Keith Urban Just Part Of Nashville's Guitar History

(Nashville, TN) -- Keith Urban says it's not easy for a guitarist to impress people in Nashville. The country star explains that the city has an incredible history with the instrument that he and others will add to -- if they can.

Keith admits that when he arrived in Nashville he had an inkling of what he was up against, because he grew up listening to legends like Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell, and Jerry Reed. He adds that he's grateful to them for setting a standard of excellence that he and Nashville's current crop of guitarists are striving to maintain.

Keith Urban says he knew the level of excellence among guitarists in Nashville, which is now up to people like him, Hunter Hayes, and Frankie Ballard to maintain.
