Keith Urban's Most Recent Number One Almost Wasn't Released


(Nashville, TN) -- Keith Urban admits there were issues with releasing his Miranda Lambert duet, "We Were Us," as a single. But the country star says he opted against changing anything, and simply trusted that things would work out.


Urban not only got his "miracle," but a chart-topping hit out of it. "We Were Us" is from Keith's latest studio effort, "Fuse." He teamed up with the song's writers for an event last week in Nashville to celebrate the track's success. Miranda, who's on her "Platinum" tour, couldn't attend the party. But she sent a video expressing her thanks for being allowed to be a part of the hit song.
