Kenny Chesney Explains Appeal Of Flora-Bama Lounge

(Nashville, TN) -- Kenny Chesney says the Flora-Bama Lounge in Pensacola, Florida really is a special place. The country superstar explains that it has to do with the club's atmosphere, which has been created in part by all the performers who've played there over the years and all the relationships that have been formed there.

Chesney played his one-and-only concert of 2014 at the Flora-Bama on Saturday. The "Pensacola News Journal" says more than 40-thousand fans packed the beach on both sides of the Florida-Alabama border for the show. Chesney opened his two-and-a-half-hour set with the song "Flora-Bama," from his upcoming album "The Big Revival." He also sang his current single, "American Kids," as well as "The Boys of Fall," "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy," and other hits.
