Kenny Chesney Honoring Iconic Venue On New Album

(Nashville, TN) -- Kenny Chesney says the Flora-Bama Lounge deserves a musical salute. The country star explains that in his song "Flora-Bama" he tried to capture the spirit of the iconic club, which has retained its character even five decades after first opening its doors.

Over the weekend the Flora-Bama hosted Kenny's only 2014 concert, which drew a crowd of more than 40-thousand. "Flora-Bama" is on Chesney's upcoming album, "The Big Revival," which will arrive on September 23rd. Those who pre-order the disc will receive an instant download of the track along with Kenny's current single, "American Kids."
